Privacy Policy

• Account details — your email address and basic profile, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk).
• YouTube authorization — if you connect a channel, Google gives us an OAuth token so we can upload and manage videos you create through AutoTube. We store this token in encrypted form.
• Content you create — the niches, prompts, scripts, images, audio, and videos generated in your account.
• Billing — credit purchases are processed by our payment provider (LemonSqueezy). We never see or store your full card details.
• Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

We use your data to run the service: generate videos, upload them to your connected channel at your request, manage your credit balance, provide support, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal information.

AutoTube uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of Google data is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

We only request the permissions needed to upload and manage videos you create with AutoTube. We do not read your private videos or use your YouTube data for anything beyond the features you use.

You can revoke AutoTube’s access to your Google account at any time via the Google security settings page, or by clicking Disconnect in AutoTube Settings.

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure. YouTube refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to the operation of the service. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted processors that help us operate: authentication (Clerk), database hosting (Neon), video generation and delivery infrastructure, Google/YouTube (for uploads you request), and payments (LemonSqueezy). These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments.

• Disconnect your YouTube channel anytime in Settings.
• Revoke Google access via your Google Account permissions page.
• Delete your videos and niches from within the app.
• Request account deletion by emailing us (see below).

We keep your data while your account is active. When you disconnect YouTube or delete content, the associated tokens and files are removed. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data except where retention is required by law.

AutoTube is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
